Yes, my name is Cao Ba Hung, and I'm 27.

I'm a Artist - Music Producer - Music Director based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. My dream is to bring Vietnamese culture to the world.

I was fortunate to be born into a family with a long tradition of Literature and Music, from which I was soon exposed to traditional musical works and beautiful poems of Vietnam.

In 2008, I received a scholarship from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City for a 6-year study abroad trip to China. The school I attended was called Guangxi Art Institude. My major is Music Performance - Pi Pa.

But during the 6 years of studying, what I have achieved is much more than that.

I learned in their country how they preserve and promote traditional cultural values. Not only Music, but also Fashion, Dance, Art, and Sculpture, their traditions are well preserved and promoted, training many generations of successors.

When I see it, I wish that when I return to Vietnam, I will be able to do the same as them.

2014, when I just returned to Vietnam, I became a Ti Ba musician at Bong Sen Ethnic Music and Dance Theater.

2015, I stepped into the role of Music Producer. With the knowledge of traditional music, and with the experience of modern music (Hip Hop, EDM, Rap ...), I am fortunate to contribute a little new taste to the music industry in Vietnam, with a number of successful productions for other singers at that time.

Since then, the name Cao Ba Hung is known as a Song Writer, Music Producer.

2016, I participated in the contest “Sing My Song”, that Composers will perform their own songs. I participated and was fortunate to become the Champion of that year's contest.

2017, after the Sing My Song contest ended, my life changed a lot...

The popularity came so quickly that it overwhelmed me. I did'nt make new music, I performed more, and my life is no longer private.

2018, I found myself unable to stay in this cycle of (short-term) success. I decided to leave the limelight for a while to study further.

There are three main reasons for this:

- Focus on completing the study of high school.

- Redefine my biggest goal.

- Improve my musical expertise, while learning other specialties.

2021, me and my teammates made a plan to rebranding the name Cao Ba Hung. Our goal at this time is much bigger than Music, is Culture.

2022, besides my music career, I also participate in activities and support many other types of culture such as Art, Fashion, Dance, Photography...

2022, me and my teammates have founded CAOTURE - a group of young traditional culture activists in Vietnam, to promote Vietnamese traditional culture to not only audiences in Vietnam, but also international friends.

Achievements:

- Finalist of Vietnam's Got Talent 2014 (4 Sisters Band).

- Winner of Sing My Song Vietnam 2016.
